Mission Statement

 

Encourage Communication

To provide a great connection for local Clubs and Service Organizations so they may work together on projects for the betterment of our community. 

 

An Outlet for Public Relations

A quick connection for local residence, tourists and local newspapers to get up-to-date information about the activities of our local service organizations and their upcoming events with the information provided on the Community Calendar.

 

Increased Community Involvement

Increase recruitment for membership of these organizations, as each organization will have the ability to inform the members of the community what their organization provides and teaches as well as their mission.

 

Changing the Way Residents Think About Their Involvement, or Lack Thereof

North Manchester is no different than any other small town.  Every citizen should want to give back to the community by participating in one of our local service organizations in order to better our community.  With information provided at a “one stop shop” for the community, this would help any individual to choose an organization that would be a “right fit” for them.  With this connection it will help recruit the community to be more involved in organizations because they can see that their involvement is needed.  With promoting the local clubs/organizations missions and activities in a positive light and in a right way this will encourage the community to participate in our service organizations or if not participate but to support these local organizations activities that would be posted on the Community calendar.

 

Encourage Collaboration and Partnerships

Collaboration between groups for special community projects will get more done faster for the town of North Manchester than as individuals.  Groups can pool their resources and work forces to accomplish goals in a more-timely manner.

 

Long Term Benefit of the Community Connection

Create a simple avenue for communication resulting in increased community involvement.  Increased community involvement creates a better community in which to live, increased community pride, and ultimately an increase in commerce and tourism for the town of North Manchester.
